ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT Fight for funding to improve the Murchison Road Gateway Corridor. Interchange on Murchison Road at Martin Luther King, Jr. Freeway to provide better economic growth. Improve our infrastructure to move traffic – East and West and Central City Freeway. Fight to get North Carolina Department of Commerce to locate more high paying jobs to Cumberland County. Supports efforts of local leadership to attract new industry (biotech/military related industry, etc).
